Pleco Chinese Dictionary available on the App Store, pleco 2.2 for iOS with OCR and The latest version for iPhone iPod IPAD software is finally available, including for the iPhone 4G / 4 users our fabulous OCR system (video demo here or here if you can not access YouTube) to find characters simply pointing the camera phone on them. There are plenty of other small improvements welcome too, as standard IOS shot selection have text style so that the text more information is easy to copy and paste from the dictionary entries. See this page for a complete list of changes. You can download the new version via the “Updates” tab in the App Store on the device or through iTunes on your computer.
Many more improvements are in the works now that we have this update of OCR on the belt – we long for a check user interface (especially share here in the settings / configuration screens flashcard) and some other long-requested fire emblem heroes hack ios features finally is about to start getting the attention they deserve. We are also moving forward in our version of Android – a final version should be out by mid-2011, but we’re hoping to launch a first public beta test earlier. We are making progress in licensing and new dictionaries.
Talk about timely. We’ve been waiting for months (with bated breath, we might add) to Pleco 2. 2 to finally hit the App Store from Apple, and after trying a few bugs launch day last week, we can finally say that’s out and ready to master any task that China has been putting in a hurry . The Pleco Chinese Dictionary is available on the App Store version 2.2. 1, support both input and full-screen writing and character recognition based live cameras. Here’s hoping this is just the first of many languages Pleco decide to meet – not that we are a lot of throwing out subtle hints.
